St. Joseph’s Health is pleased to sponsor the upcoming Rosamond Gifford Zoo Teddy Bear Clinics on Monday, February 17, 10am-2pm. Teddy Bear clinics invite children to bring their well-loved plush animal for a “checkup” at the zoo.
We are looking for volunteers. This is always a fun event and it’s a tremendous opportunity to show children they shouldn’t be afraid to go to the doctor.
There are several roles – from “examining” the animals to stitching them up. There are also non-clinical roles such as brushing their fur and attaching the ribbons. Here’s the link to sign up. We should have more people signed up for the morning session because that’s the busiest.
