With an increase in the number of travel/vendor staff, and as part of our integration into the TogetherSafe initiative, Colleague Safety is providing updated guidance and instruction related to T.H.E.I.R reporting. Any employee, vendor, contractor, volunteer, or student is encouraged to complete a THEIR if they are injured while working on St. Joseph’s Health property. If an individual is completing a T.H.E.I.R and they are not an St. Joseph’s Health/ Trinity Health employee, they should check “no” under “Did you find your name in the employee lookup?” and “Not employed by Trinity Health” under “Job Title at Time of Injury” (see example below).
Click here for the algorithm that should be used by colleagues as a guide on how to report an injury.
If you are questioning whether or not to complete a THEIR, it is always best to complete one. Once submitted, Beth Perry, RN Colleague Safety Specialist, will reach out to discuss details of the injury and guidance on next steps.
Thank you,
