Rare Exceptions:
Screenshots 1&2 for Notes: In the event that there is a reason why a note should not be released to the patient, there are specific criteria (see picture below) where it can be blocked, but these are very infrequent events.
Screenshot 3: Results release
It is possible to “unrelease” a test result. I believe after the October 20th upgrade, if you were to click “Retract from patient” it will then give you a similar list of reasons why you are retracting. (current state it does not look for a reason)
It is the provider’s responsibility to release the result, for example, after talking to the pt about the result if that is the goal, as this will no longer be Re-released.
