In-house Radiologist Coverage

Please be aware that Saint Joseph’s Imaging Associates (SJIA), in-house Radiologist coverage hours will be changing effective January 1, 2022.  Monday through Friday, in-house Radiologist coverage will be from 8:00am ─ 5:00pm. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays in-house radiologist coverage will be 8:00am ─ 3:00pm.

Medical Imaging staff will be following and expanding the previously designated procedures for utilizing the off-site nighthawk service “VRAD” for interpretations. Medical Imaging and hospital leadership will be tracking the effects of these changes and will analyze this information as we determine future coverage models. Initially, these changes will occur for the first quarter of calendar year 2022 with plans to extend this coverage model or amend it based on the tracking of these changes.
